(一)春节

Spring festival is on the first day of the first lunar month. Chinese people like the Spring Festival the most.

春节在农历一月的第一天。中国人最喜欢春节。

During Spring Festival, Chinese people like having meals with their families, playing fireworks in the open air.

在春节期间,中国人喜欢与家人一起吃饭,在户外放烟花。

My sisters and I play fireworks on that day. We have many fireworks. They are very beautiful. They are running into the sky and breaking into pieces. They look like flowers in the sky. We are very happy and excited.

那天我和我的姐妹玩烟花。我们有很多烟花。他们非常漂亮。他们跑向天空,炸成了碎片。他们看起来像在天空中的花。我们非常高兴和激动。

After that, I'll make a wish. I hope that we can have a happy and healthy life next year and everyone in my family can be happy.

Falling on the first day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar, the Spring Festival is in fact the Chinese New Year.

Before it, people usually give their houses a thorough cleaning and do a lot of shopping.

On the New Year’s Eve, people come home and the whole family have a big dinner together.

On the New Year’s Day and the few days to follow, people often visit their relatives and friends to give one another their best wishes for the new year.

Throughout this festival period firecrackers can be heard everywhere. This festival is the most important festival for the Chinese.

Chinese Spring Festival celebrates the end of winter and the warmth of spring. It begins in the last day of the lunar year, ends in the 15th day of lunar New Year, also is the Lantern Festival.

中国的春节庆祝冬天的结束和春天的温暖。它始于农历的最后一天,结束于农历的第十五天,也是元宵节。

During the Spring Festival, people use red lantern and Spring Festival couplets to decorate the house, put on all kinds of colored clothes, often visit friends and relatives or eat dumplings, fish, meat and other delicious food together.

春节期间,人们用红灯笼和春联装饰房屋,穿上各种颜色的衣服,经常拜访朋友和亲戚或一起吃饺子,鱼,肉和其他美味的食物。

The children are looking forward to receiving red envelope money. They play fireworks together, very happy.

孩子们都盼望着收到红包,他们一起玩烟花,开心极了。

CCTV will held the grand Spring Festival gala.

中央电视台将举行盛大的春节联欢晚会。

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people.

春节对中国人来说非常重要。

In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon.

在过去,人们不能经常有肉,米饭或其他美味的食物。他们只能在春节期间吃这些。所以每年他们都希望春节快点到来。

Now, although people's life is much better, and we can eat the delicious foods everyday.People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family.

现在,虽然人们的生活更好,我们可以每天吃美味的食物。人们仍然喜欢这个节日。因为大多数人可以有一个很长的假期,我们可以自由旅行,拜访我们的朋友或与我们的家人聚会。

In the evenings, we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes.

(二)中秋

(1)

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It’s on the 15th of August. We can hang lanterns in the house.

中秋节是中国一个非常重要的节日。它在8月15日。我们可以在房子里挂灯笼。

In the evening, we have a big dinner. Look, there is lots of food on the table. They are chicken, fish, crabs and so on. They’re very delicious.

在晚上,我们有一顿大餐。看,桌子上有很多食物。它们是鸡、鱼、蟹等等。它们很美味。

We can drink a glass of juice. We stand beside the table and we say, “Cheers, cheers, happy Mid-Autumn Festival!”. We make a wish to each other.

我们可以喝一杯果汁。我们站在桌子旁边,我们说,“干杯,干杯,中秋节快乐!”。我们彼此许了个愿。

At night, the moon is usually round and bright. It looks like a ball. We can enjoy the moon.

晚上,月亮通常又圆又亮。它看起来像一个球。我们可以欣赏月亮。

Moon cakes are the special food for this festival. We can eat moon cakes.

月饼是这个节日的特殊食品。我们可以吃月饼。

In the Mid-Autumn Festival, my parents and I are all very happy and excited.

Mid-autumn Festival is a popular and important lunar festival celebrated by Chinese people.

中秋节是中国人欢庆的一个流行而且重要的农历节日。

The festival is on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar.

There are some traditions in this holiday. For example, people would have a big dinner with their families. After dinner, they often enjoy the full moon which is round and bright.

这个节日有一些传统。例如,人们会和他们的家人吃一顿丰盛的晚餐。晚饭后,他们经常欣赏圆圆而明亮的满月。

The other tradition of mid-autumn festival is eating moon cake. Moon cake is the essential of that day, which means reunion. As time goes by, there are various kinds of moon cakes, but they are much more expensive than before.

中秋节的另一个传统是吃月饼。月饼是这一天必不可少的,这意味着团圆。随着时间的推移,有各种各样的月饼,但他们比以前昂贵得多。

I like mid-autumn festival because my families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

Today is Mid-autumn Day. I have a big meal at home with my parents and relatives.

This is an important festival, so my mother was busy with preparing the dinner from morning. She bought a lot of food for the dinner.

这是一个重要的节日,所以我妈妈从早上就忙着准备晚餐。她为晚餐买了许多食物。

We had dinner at five thirty in the afternoon. The dinner was very delicious. I was so full.

After dinner, we went to the HongTing Park to enjoy the glorious full moon. There were many people in the park. We talked to each other.

Of course, the moon cake was essential. We had a great night there.

The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of August.

中秋节是中国一个非常重要的节日。它在8月15日。

A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help to make the house clean. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.

在节日来临的前几天,家庭中的每个人都要打扫房子。房子前面会挂上灯笼。

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the reunion.

在晚上,会有一个大的家庭晚餐。那些远离家乡工作的人们会尽量回家团聚。

After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.

晚饭后,人们点亮灯笼,一般是红色的圆灯笼。孩子们会快乐地玩他们自己的玩具灯笼。

At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can talk to each other, look back on the past and look forward to the future together.

晚上月亮通常又圆又亮。人们可以在赏月的同时吃月饼,这是这个节日的特殊食物。他们可以相互交谈,一起回顾过去,展望未来。

The Mid-autumn Day is one of the most important festivals in China. Before the festival, many shops sell mooncakes, round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside.

中秋节是中国最重要的节日之一。节日前,许多商店卖月饼,圆的月饼里面有肉、蛋、坚果或一些甜的东西。

On the Mid-autumn Day, each family get together and have a big dinner.

在中秋节,每个家庭都会聚在一起,吃一顿丰盛的晚餐。

In the evening we eat mooncakes and all kinds of fruit, such as apples, pears, grapes and watermelons.

晚上我们吃月饼和各种水果,如苹果、梨、葡萄和西瓜。

We look up at the sky, and enjoy the big and bright moon. Our grandparents will tell us the story of Chang'e again.

我们仰望天空,欣赏大大的和明亮的月亮。我们的祖父母将再次给我们讲述嫦娥的故事。

(三)端午

(1)

Dragon Boat Festival is my favourite festival. During the holiday of Dragon Boat Festival, I get together with my family to have a big meal.

端午节是我最喜欢的节日。端午节放假期间,我和我的家人聚在一起吃一顿丰盛的饭。

We ofen eat the zongzi. It tastes very nice. And we see the Dragon Boat Races. I feel excited because the race is bustling with noise and excitement.

我们常常吃粽子。味道很好。我们观看龙舟比赛。我感到很激动,因为比赛在喧闹和兴奋中进行。

At Dragon Boat Festival, we also drink realgar wine. Some people think drinking realgar wine can protect themselves from illness.

在端午节,我们也喝雄黄酒。有些人认为喝雄黄酒可以保护自己免于生病。

Dragon Boat Festival is interesting and I like it very much.

端午节很有趣,我非常喜欢。

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.

端午节,又叫端午节,是在农历五月初五这一天庆祝的。人们总是吃粽子,看龙舟比赛来庆祝它。

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. It is very popular.

端午节最著名的是它的龙舟比赛,尤其是在南方有许多河流和湖泊的地方。它很受欢迎。

The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice, meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings. They are very delicious.

粽子是由糯米、肉等做成的。你可以吃不同种类的粽子。它们非常美味。

And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river.

端午节是为了屈原。他是一个忠诚的大臣,据说他跳河淹死了。

Overall, the Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting!

My favourite festival is the Dragon Boat Festival. It is on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year.

People celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival to remember Qu Yuan. People always eat rice dumplings and have dragon boat races.

I like the Dragon Boat Festival because I like eating rice dumplings. I like sweet rice dumplings with beans best.

我喜欢端午节,因为我喜欢吃粽子。我最喜欢甜甜的有豆子的粽子。

I also love taking photos. I always take photos of the dragon boat races on that day.

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar.

龙舟节,也叫端午节,是在中国的农历五月初五这一天庆祝。

For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (Glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves) and racing dragon boats.

千百年来,吃粽子(用竹叶或芦苇叶包起来的糯米)和赛龙舟已经成为这个节日的标志。

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern provinces where there are many rivers and lakes.

这个节日最出名的是龙舟赛,尤其是在有很多河流和湖泊的南方省份。

The boat race commemorates the death of Qu Yuan, an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river. The dragon-boat races symbolize the attempt to rescue Qu Yuan.

这一划船比赛是为了纪念屈原的死,据说他是一位正直的大臣,他是投江自杀的。龙舟赛象征着抢救屈原的努力。

A typical dragon boat is 50 to 100 feet long and can accommodate two oarsmen sitting side by side.

China traditional culture just like the number of stars in the sky are innumerable, there are the Spring Festival, the Mid Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. Now I will introduce the Dragon Boat festival to you.

中国传统文化如天上的星星数不清,有春节、中秋节和端午节。现在我将向你们介绍端午节。

It is said that the emperor of Chu is a bad king. Qu yuan was a loyal minister. Qu yuan failed to persuade the king and committed suicide by jumping into the river.

据说楚国的皇上是一个昏君。屈原是一个忠诚的大臣。屈原劝说国王失败,就跳河自杀了。

After Qu yuan jumped into the river, people rowed boats to look for his body, but could not find it. So people put rice dumplings into the river to let the fish, shrimp and crab eat enough, so that they will no longer eat the body of Qu yuan.

屈原跳河后,人们划船寻找他的尸体,但是没有找到。于是人们把粽子投进江里,是为让鱼虾蟹吃饱了,不再去吃屈原的遗体。

After a long time of evolution, rowing became dragon boat racing, throwing zongzi into the river gradually became eating zongzi.

经过很长时间的演变,划船变成了赛龙舟,往江里投粽子渐渐变成了吃粽子。

From then on, people regard this day as the Dragon Boat Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival is for people to eat dumplings, dragon boat racing, drinking realgar Yellow Wine etc.......

从此,人们把这一天作为端午节,人们一到端午节就划龙舟、吃粽子、喝雄黄酒等......
